Approval
Questionnaire
While your account is pending, a banner prompts you to complete a short questionnaire. This helps us understand your use case and prioritize approvals.
The questionnaire asks about:
- AI tools you currently use
- Monthly AI spend
- Pain points you’re looking to solve
Most questions are multiple-choice. There are also optional questions about the models, languages, and platforms you work with. Providing detailed answers — especially in the free-text fields — improves your approval score.
Approval Score
After submitting the questionnaire, you’ll see your score and a breakdown of how it’s calculated. The score is based on:
| Factor | Weight |
|---|---|
| Payment method on file | 30% |
| AI spend range | 15% |
| Number of AI tools used | 15% |
| Pain points (checkboxes) | 10% |
| Pain points (detailed text) | 10% |
| Other signals (GitHub age, models, GitHub App) | 20% |
Improving Your Score
To increase your approval priority:
- Add a payment method — worth 30 points, the single biggest factor. You won’t be charged until you start a trial.
- Complete all optional questions — more signal helps.
- Write detailed pain point descriptions — 50+ characters earns bonus points.
- Use a work email on your GitHub account — free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) trigger a manual review flag.
Getting Approved
Approval is manual — an admin reviews your score and activates your account. You’ll receive an email when your status changes to enabled.
Once approved, you can start your trial.
